What is Vinyasa Yoga?
A smooth transition between asanas in the style of modern yoga as exercises such as Vinyasa Krama yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, and Bikram yoga. When the movement is in pair with the breath, it is known as Vinyasa Yoga. Furthermore, the forms of Vinyasa yoga in use as exercise.

The Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga developed by Pattabhi Jois in 1948. The Power Yoga was developed by Beryl Bender Birch in 1995. Whereas the Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Power Vinyasa Yoga, Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga were derived from Krishnamacharya’s development of a flowing aerobic style of yoga in the Mysore Palace in the early 20th century.
Furthermore, as claimed by Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga’s official history, Krishnamacharya learns the complete system of postures and transitions from an unknown document known as the Yoga Kurunta .
The history also notifies that Krishnamacharya copied the Yoga Kurunta out and tutored it, unmodified to Pattabhi Jois. Krishnamacharya had used “Vinyasa” in at least two different ways. One was in a vast sense to mean “an appropriately formulated series of steps for approaching a given posture” whereas the other one was a “stage in the implementation of an asana”.

Pattabhi Jois’s usage
Moreover, Pattabhi Jois had used “Vinyasa” in a confined sense which means “the repetitive linking movements” between the asanas of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Similarly, Gregor Maehle, the teacher of Ashtanga yoga explains that this flowing style “creates a movement meditation”.
Sharath Jois’s usage
Sharath Jois, the grandson of Pattabhi Jois has taught Modern vinyasa yoga which coordinates the breath with the vinyasa transition movements between asanas. Also, as it’s definition by Sharath Jois, vinyasa is the system of breathing and movement.
Vinyasa Flow yoga
A style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement is Vinyasa Yoga. Whereas the style of yoga with the focus on transitions and movements, with less time spent in stationary poses, is called Vinyasa Flow yoga. Also, known as Flow Yoga. Furthermore, vinyasa can be soft and gentle but is often is a fast and physically challenging practice.
